Meet Our Doctors
Dr. John Wheeler
Born and raised in Lutherville, MD, Dr. Wheeler earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland College Park. In 1984, Dr. Wheeler earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Following dental school, Dr. Wheeler completed a one-year residency in General Dentistry at Wilmington Medical Center in Wilmington, DE. Dr. Wheeler has been practicing in Georgetown, DE for over 30 years. He thoroughly enjoys his patients as he has known many of them for decades.
Dr. Eric Balliet
Originally from Cecil County Maryland, Dr. Balliet earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Salisbury State University. In 1997, Dr. Balliet earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. He then completed a one-year residency in General Dentistry at Christiana Care Hospital in Wilmington, DE. After practicing for two years in New Castle county, Dr. Balliet moved to Sussex County to join the practice in August of 2000.
Dr. Julie Parker
Dr. Parker is a native of Georgetown, DE, and attended Sussex Central High School. She went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Parker then completed a one-year residency in General Dentistry at Palmetto Health Hospital in Columbia, SC. Coming back to her hometown, Dr. Parker is enjoying treating her patients as if they were family.

We participate with few select insurance policies. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card if you would like to know if we are participating providers (some plans are doctor-specific). Otherwise, we will happily send in all insurance claims to be processed, but payment is due at time of service from our patients.
